The time is rapidly approaching. . . my 30th birthday is around the corner. I can remember a few years ago when I was in Arizona and it happened to be my sis-in-law Patti's 30th birthday. She was a little sad and down about the whole day and was totally bummed that she had reached that dreaded number. I was only about 25 at the time and I was totally confused that a 30th birthday could make someone so miserable, and I swore that I would NEVER feel that way when I turned 30. Who cares right? Its just a number! WELL!! I find myself thinking about this terrible number quite often and feel all these horrible feelings creeping up on me. I can't believe that my 20's are almost over. The most important decade of my life! I met my Josh, got married, had my 2 amazing boys, bought my house, etc. So much happened!! How can I say goodbye to the best years of my life? Well, I guess the only solace is going to be the thought of another decade with my sweet family and the promise that 30 is the new 20. . . RIGHT?????

Just to let you know the best is yet to come! I have nearly 19 years on you and can honestly say that I have enjoyed every year God has blessed me with. Just keep reminding yourself... it beats the alternative choice :)
Life goes by so quickly. When I think I will be 49 in April, I gasp!
Mandi, you are so cute. I just love reading your blog. I remember back when we were still single digits and couldn't stand each other. And now we're almost 30. Girl, I love you something fierce. Your 20's may have been the best years of your life... so far, but just wait. I have a feeling good things are coming to you in your 30's. You deserve it.
All is well with being 30. It was 31 that threw me for some reason. And now I just don't think about age.

Jessica just turned 30 a few weeks ago and went through similar feelings. Don't worry...30s are really great! Just ask Joshie!
It's funny you said that because I was just talking about this the other day. As you know my birthday is in April and I will be 30. I am feeling SOOO depressed about it. I have not even turned 30 yet and already I am having the hardest time with it. I feel like it can't be real, I must be dreaming. Hang in there! Let me know how ou get through it so I can too. :)

I guess it's all in your perspective...I loved your blog. Reminds me when I was younger. Good news...The 30's and 40's are way better than the 20's! You've got lots to look forward to Mandi. Happy Birthday.

For that to be true in my life though, I have a few pounds to lose. My body isn't 20 anymore, but my mind is! :) Love ya!
