Katie and Jake!

Josh's little sister Katie got married about 2 weeks ago to a great guy named Jake. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Thursday the 12th and had a recption on the next day. Her colors were yellow and green and her flowers were all about the daisy. She looked absolutely gorgeous and Jake wasnt too shabby himself! They had their reception at a friend's house in the back yard and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! She is the last one of Josh's siblings to get hitched so his parents are finally empty nesters!! We had such a fun time celebrating this special time with them and are excited to have Jake as a new member of the family. Welcome Jake!!

Father's Day!

What a fun and happy father's Day!! On Saturday, I just HAD to let Josh have his gifts because i am terrible at keeping stuff from him. Plus, I couldn't really hide one of them very well. The boys gave him a car battery charger, (his car has been dead for 3 weeks!) and I gave him a wheel barrow. Both are things that he wanted and needed. See how excited he is??? We love our daddy and are so so lucky to have him in our lives. He plays with the boys and is such a good buddy to them. He is always thinking about what we can do with them or where we can take them. Thanks for being the bestest daddy in the world!!!

On Sunday we had Josh's family over to celebrate. The adults sat around under the shade of our great big Sycamore tree and munched on the yummy food, and the kids spent the day playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it. All the dad's ended up with some fun gifts and the kids ended up playing in the water for over 3 hours!! We love to have reasons to have the family get together and this day coudln't have been more fun. Thanks to all the dad's in the family for being who you are and for giving us a reason to celebrate!! We LOVE our Dad's!

Yesterday we went to Lagoon with our neighbor Kasha, and her 2 kids David and Faye. We were all so excited to be able to get to spend a whole day together going on rides and eating yummy treats! The day started out pretty perfect but after we had been there about an hour, the clouds came out and it started to drizzle a little bit, and the wind picked up! But, all the kids still had a blast! They were all big enough to be able to go on all the "big kid" rides except for Kolby. But, he didnt mind too much because Kasha and I took him on the train and the Tilt-a-Whirl enough times to make anybody NEVER want to ride it again! It was getting pretty late and Kasha and I were trying to be sneaky and get the kids to leave the park without going on anymore rides. (We were starting to get a little "queasy") But, they HAD to go one "just one more ride" pleeeeaaaassssseee???? So our attempt at geeting them out quickly was totally shot! We ended up on about another 4 rides before we finally got everybody out to the car. Most of them were asleep before we even left the parking lot! It was a totally fun filled day!!! Our fun friends are moving in a couple weeks so it was so much fun to be able to spend a whole day with them and make some fun memories! We will miss you guys tons!!

31 on the 31st!

My Joshy is 31!!! We went out to dinner last night to celebrate Josh's birthday at his favorite mexican food restaurant Mi Ranchito. We had a super fun time! All of the adult members of the family was there, including a soon to be new addition to the family, Katie's fiance Jake. (Welcome to the family!) Stephanies hubby Dave couldn't make it but we missed him! They gave him great gifts including his favorite cookies as desert! Thanks to you Melanie!! We love getting together as a family just talking and laughing.... ALOT! Thanks to everyone who came. We love you and are so happy we live close enough to be able to get together for these fun events!!

Baby Kolby is 3!!!

Our little Kolby is growing up so fast!!! We had a family birthday party that he shared with his cousins Amber and Kyle. We went up to a park in the canyon and it could not have been a more perfect day. We ate REALLY good and just had a really fun and relaxing day, completed with an awesome game of kickball. I wanted to get some pictures of his sweet little face, but he was too busy opening up his toys to give me a full on smile. But you get the idea right? It was a happy day for him!
